Frank reads what you send him so he can help. This page says exactly what we keep, why, who else touches it, and how to make us delete it.
The short version. We keep your messages so Frank remembers you. We never sell them. We never use them for ads. Text Frank the word delete and everything goes.
What we collect
- Phone numbers of the people in the family group, so Frank knows who is talking.
- Messages, photos, and screenshots you send Frank, and his replies.
- Things Frank learns from those conversations, like your name, your phone model, and what you have asked before, so he does not make you repeat yourself.
- The email and payment details of the buyer. Payment is handled by Whop. We never see your full card number.
- Basic web data when you visit this site, such as the page you came from and the device you used.
What we do with it
- Answer your messages. That is the whole point.
- Let Frank remember you between conversations.
- Let a person on our team read a conversation when Frank is unsure, when you ask for a human, or when something looks unsafe.
- Improve Frank. We look at conversations in bulk to find where he gets things wrong. We do not use your conversations to train AI models that other companies use.
- Run and measure our advertising on the web. If you came from an ad, we tell the ad platform that a visit or a purchase happened, using a scrambled version of your email or phone number so the platform cannot read it. We never send the content of your messages to advertisers.
What we never do
- Sell your information. To anyone. Ever.
- Show you ads inside Frank or use your messages to target ads.
- Share your conversations with your family members. What a parent sends Frank in a private thread stays private, unless it is in the group chat where everyone can already see it.
- Contact you for marketing by text. Frank only texts when you text him, plus one check in after two weeks of quiet and one reminder before renewal.
Who else touches your data
A few companies help us run Frank. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.
- Blooio delivers text messages to and from Frank.
- AI model providers process the text and images you send so Frank can answer. They are not allowed to keep or train on your data under our agreements with them.
- Whop handles payment.
- Vercel hosts this website and the Frank server.
- Meta receives scrambled ad measurement data as described above, only from visits to this website.
How long we keep it
While you have Frank, we keep your conversations so he can remember you. Ninety days after you cancel, we delete your messages and what Frank learned. We keep payment records for seven years because tax law requires it.
Deleting your data
Text Frank the word delete. He confirms once, then everything about you is gone within 30 days, except payment records we are required to keep. You can ask Frank for a copy of what we hold about you the same way.
Security
Messages travel encrypted between your phone and our servers. Our servers are encrypted at rest. Only a small number of people on our team can read conversations, and only for the reasons above. No system is perfect. If we ever have a breach that affects you, we will tell you quickly and plainly.
Children
Frank is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has been using Frank, text Frank and ask for a person, and we will delete the data.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to fix it, ask us to delete it, and tell us to stop using it. California residents have these rights under state law, and we honor them for everyone. We will never treat you differently for using them.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will text you first.
Contact
Text Frank and ask for a person. A person reads every message. Frank is made by Virtue, Boulder, Colorado.
